Our volunteer program targets both local and international individuals and institutions. BONET volunteers are often expected to express their interest through an online or on site application. In line with our vision, this volunteering programme seeks to empower young people with most relevant professional knowledge, skills and experiences to permit them further pursue and realize or live their full potentials and dreams in any part of the world. BONET volunteers and staff are treated almost same when it comes to work. In fact, our volunteers and staff do not only share similar feelings as colleagues but are equally imbibed with a sense of fraternity and family which serves as a huge source of motivation to the services we render to our different beneficiaries. Many of our former volunteers have gained employment with international entities including the UN, AU, AfDB, etc., some have had prestigious scholarships across world class Universities, while others have been able to create their own social enterprises and or businesses where they are not only able to sustain themselves but have equally employed other job seekers. We are proud and motivated by these success stories! Our volunteer period runs from a minimum of three (3) months to a maximum of one (1) year renewable.
OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
BONET’s internship programme is aimed at offering special opportunities for students and young graduates to pursue academic and professional working experience. Our interns are often provided all necessary support from both the Management and Staff including relevant information, mentorship, career development assistance, work ethics, field work, among other critical knowledge and skills required by today’s increasingly competitive professional world. The success stories from previous interns at BONET are so exciting and motivate us to sustain this special opportunity for all interested students, young graduates and aspiring professionals from local and international institutions. Our internship period covers a period of minimum two (2) months and maximum of six (6) months depending on the prevailing circumstances.
